We are a Christian founded ministry thriving on Biblical morals and integrity. We have many ministries that join to form one big functioning ministry that facilitate our Mission and Vision.

To fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples of all nations, proclaiming and demonstrating the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout Uganda through Spirit-empowered worship, biblical teaching, sacrificial service, and loving action, so that the name of Jesus is glorified above all and thousands discover life, hope, and their true identity in Him.

The mission will never change—the name of Jesus is to be glorified. In a culture of countless competing voices, we boldly proclaim that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow. Through our actions, our worship, our preaching, and our service, we will ensure the Gospel continues to penetrate the heart of Uganda until we see 2,000+ weekly gathering across our locations, each one discovering who they really are in Christ and living with clear Kingdom purpose.

Our mission at Body of Christ Ministries is to:

Pastor Wachagi Charles and his wife Muzaki Joan are the lead pastors of Body of Christ Ministries Mbale and founders of Christhome for Children and Food Bank (CCFB) in Mbale, Eastern Uganda, transforming their own stories of hunger and hardship into a mission of hope restored.
Pastor Charles grew up experiencing severe hunger and poverty, losing two brothers to starvation. His path changed thanks to sponsorship from Pastor Joe Peters (USA), igniting a passion to break the cycle of poverty through education and spiritual guidance—a mission shared by his wife, Joan, who also faced a difficult start as an orphan.
