Sustainable Food Production & Security
Focus: Operating the farm/garden to provide the primary source of nutrition for the children's home and the Food Bank has four acres of land to implement it's farming activities: Implementing organic and sustainable farming practices.
Managing crop rotation, harvesting, and food preservation (e.g., drying, canning).
Ensuring a consistent supply of fresh, healthy produce for all beneficiaries
